This is a 115-year-old Colt New Service Revolver chambered in .38 WCF with a 5-1/2" barrel and blue finish. It was recently acquired from the late Michael Hutyra Collection. This is an early production model with a nice tight action. It wears a custom set of coin Silver engraved and overlayed grips that feature Mexican Pesos on the left panel and the Mayan Aztec Sun Stone Calendar on the right panel. This revolver likely has some interesting history and has typical signs of use, wear, handling marks and scattered peppering.
