Offered here is a striking Colt Government Model Series 70 chambered in .38 Super, serial number GV237650, extensively enhanced by Tyler Gun Works with custom engraving, color casing, and genuine mammoth ivory grips.

Built on Colt’s full-size Government Model platform, this pistol originally left Colt with a blued finish and 5-inch National Match barrel. We transformed it into a distinctive patriotic custom, with engraving extending across the slide.

The engraving incorporates classic American imagery and themes, including a Bald Eagle, the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, a depiction of Mount Rushmore, Washington Crossing the Delaware, ornamental scrollwork, as well as "1776-2026" "SESTERCENTENNIAL" "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," and "We the People." The artwork is especially striking against the vivid color case finish, which produces rich blues, bronze, gold, and charcoal tones throughout the frame and slide.

Completing the presentation is a set of genuine mammoth ivory grips.

This Tyler Gun Works custom combines the classic Colt Government Model, the desirable .38 Super chambering, and traditional finishing techniques with a distinctly American presentation.
