OVERVIEW

Offered here is a beautiful Ruger New Model Blackhawk chambered in .45 Colt, featuring a 7½-inch barrel, stainless steel finish, traditional Ruger wood grips with silver medallions, and custom enhancements by Tyler Gun Works.

Originally introduced in 1955, the Ruger Blackhawk became one of America's most recognized single-action revolvers, combining classic Western styling with Ruger's rugged construction. The New Model Blackhawk debuted in 1973, introducing the transfer bar safety system while retaining the traditional appearance and handling characteristics of the original design.

This particular revolver, Ruger Model 00460, was shipped from the factory in 2008 and features the classic 7½-inch barrel configuration, stainless steel construction, and attractive wood grips with silver Ruger medallions.

It has received our Tyler Gun Works in-house action job for a smoother, more refined action, along with a Wilson Combat adjustable rear sight installed by TGW for an upgraded sight picture. The revolver is also equipped with a Belt Mountain base pin for enhanced cylinder stability.

CONDITION

This revolver is in great overall condition, featuring an attractive stainless steel finish and traditional Ruger wood grips with silver medallions.

The right side of the top strap exhibits several noticeable, scattered cosmetic handling marks, consistent with previous handling and use. These marks are localized and are reflected in the overall condition assessment.

The revolver is enhanced by our Tyler Gun Works in-house action job, upgraded Wilson Combat rear sight, and features a Belt Mountain base pin. Includes the grey Ruger factory hard case.
