The revolver was shipped to Norvell-Shapleigh Hardware Company in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 2, 1911, as part of a shipment of just five revolvers of the same type.

CONDITION

This Colt remains in very nice original condition, particularly considering its age.

The revolver continues to show evidence of its original color case hardened finish across the frame, with areas of surviving color still readily visible. The blued components likewise retain areas of bright original blue, accompanied by the expected age, handling wear, finish loss, and patina accumulated over more than a century.

The hard rubber Colt stocks display well and complement the revolver's honest, original appearance.
