Offered here is a desirable Third Generation Colt New Frontier chambered in .44 Special, serial number 14894NF, in the correct 5½-inch barrel configuration.

The New Frontier was Colt’s adjustable-sight evolution of the Single Action Army, retaining the traditional single-action mechanism while adding a flat-top frame, ramp-style front sight, and fully adjustable rear sight.

Serial number 14894NF is consistent with 1981 Third Generation production. This era of New Frontier production ran from the late 1970s into the early 1980s and is particularly appealing to collectors who appreciate classic Colt styling with practical adjustable sights.

This example is in near new condition, accompanied by its Colt box, Styrofoam insert, factory literature, and other pictured paperwork.
