Overview

This Ruger No. 1 Light Sporter is a striking custom presentation built on one of Ruger’s most admired single-shot platforms. Factory model 11399 is a Lipsey’s Distributor Exclusive chambered in .275 Rigby (7x57) with a 24"-barrel, satin blued finish, express sights, and American walnut stock. Ruger lists this model as limited availability and catalogs it with a 24"-barrel, express front and rear sights, 40.50" overall length, 7.5 lb. weight, and 1:8.75" RH twist.

The Ruger No. 1 itself is built around Ruger’s compact falling-block action, quarter rib with integral scope mounts, cold hammer-forged barrel, and sliding tang safety. Factory literature for the 11399 also notes included scope rings, sling swivel studs, and the adjustable ejector/extractor system characteristic of the No. 1 line.
