This is a recently acquired Freedom Arms Field Grade Model 83 353 Casull .357 Magnum Revoler. The 353 Casull is capable of handling loads that are impossible, in other 357 Magnums. With the 353 Casull, virtually the only limitation is the strength of the .357 Magnum cartridge case. Muzzle velocities of over 1600 feet per second have been reported in 353 loadings using a 180 grain bullet. A Casull round could be used effectively for hunting small deer. This 353 Casull revolver is the king of all .357 chambered pistols. It features a 7 1/2" round barrel that is marked " WHITETAIL EXPRESS" on the right side and "FREEDOM ARMS 353 CASULL .357 MAG FREEDOM, WYOMING U.S.A.". It has a brushed stainless finish, serrated raised bar front sight, adjustable rear sight, and is finished off with perfectly fit black micarta grips.
