OVERVIEW

Offered here is a recently reacquired Tyler Gun Works custom Ruger New Vaquero, chambered in .45 Colt and built from the desirable TALO Distributor Exclusive Model 5151 stainless Birdshead configuration.

This revolver originally passed through our custom shop, where it received an extensive custom treatment.

This stainless revolver was hand engraved by Rocky Sharp in an elegant traditional scroll pattern. The engraving is particularly well suited to the compact Birdshead configuration, transforming an already distinctive Ruger into a highly individualized TGW custom.

Mechanical and finish work performed by Tyler Gun Works included a TGW action job, color cased hammer and trigger, nitre blued small parts, and engraving. The revolver is completed with a smooth set of synthetic ivory Birdshead grips by Boone Trading Company, as documented in the included original TGW paperwork.

Having now returned to Tyler Gun Works as a consignment piece, this revolver offers the uncommon opportunity to acquire a fantastic TGW custom build, without the wait.
