Brilliant color case-hardened receiver with full game scene engraving and crystal cocking indicators.
Matching serial numbers (43006) on receiver, forend, barrels, and water tables.
Markings include: “W&C SCOTT & SON PATENT BLOCK SAFETY,” “PATENT CRYSTAL INDICATOR,” “The Premier Gun,” and various British proof marks ("Crown/GP," "Crown/V," "Lion/GP," "10B").
Bright and shiny bores, showing excellent care over the decades.
Light wear with minor surface scratches and a small, professionally repaired corner on the forend.
Sling eyes present and fitted with a Pachmayr recoil pad for enhanced shooting comfort.
Includes a Briley thin wall choke tube set (.613 tubes installed) currently choked “FULL.”
Tight lockup and strong mechanics.
Slight fading of finish in isolated areas typical for its vintage.
