This is a recently acquired Pre-1898 Winchester Model 1873 chambered in 32 caliber with a 22.5" octagon barrel, dovetail front sight and buckhorn ladder rear sight. It has a side plate fed, tubular magazine. It appears to be all original and is in great shape for its 1885 manufacture date. It shows normal signs of wear and patina with small chips on both sides of the forend near the cap. The stock has what appears to be initials carved near the butt plate. The Model 1873 was one of the most successful Winchester rifles of its day, with Winchester marketing it as "The Gun That Won the West". Still an icon in the modern day, it was manufactured between 1873 and 1923. Please see all pictures and specs below for accurate depiction.
An FFL is NOT required for shipping upon purchase of this Pre-1898 item.
