dates this rifle to 1952
production, squarely in the desirable pre-64 era.
The rifle wears a deep brown leather sling and shows honest age and use: heavy blue wear on the bolt body and trigger-guard area, and a ventilated “White Line” recoil pad
with noticeable cracking(typical of vintage pads). Mechanically solid, with that smooth Model 70 action collectors love. The scope is a B&L Balvar
—Bausch & Lomb’s famed vintage optic that uses adjustable mounts (no internal turrets)
and was a premium choice in the 1950s–60s.
