Originally introduced in 1949 as the K-38 Combat Masterpiece, this classic revolver became known for its well-balanced K-frame design, smooth double-action operation, and excellent handling characteristics. Renamed the Model 15 in 1957, it remained a favorite among law enforcement officers, target shooters, and Smith & Wesson enthusiasts for decades.

This particular example features the desirable Model 15-3 engineering variation, traditional pre-lock configuration without an internal key lock, color cased hammer and trigger, adjustable rear sight, and handsome checkered wood grips with medallions. The blued finish displays wear consistent with age and handling, adding character to this classic Smith & Wesson revolver.
