Offered here is a desirable Smith & Wesson Model 686 No-Dash chambered in .357 Magnum, serial number AEJ26925, featuring the classic and highly versatile 4-inch barrel configuration.

Introduced in 1980, the Model 686 was developed as the stainless-steel counterpart to Smith & Wesson's blued Model 586. Built on the company's robust L-Frame, the 686 was designed around the .357 Magnum cartridge while retaining the familiar handling characteristics and traditional styling of Smith & Wesson's double-action revolvers.

As an early no-dash, pre-lock example, this revolver retains the clean lines and traditional configuration that have made early L-Frame Smith & Wessons increasingly popular with both collectors and shooters.
