This is a Smith & Wesson Model 15-3, chambered in .38 S&W Special, in near-perfect condition. This example features a 4″ pinned barrel, rich factory blued finish, and a fluted 6-shot cylinder. It retains its color case-hardened hammer and trigger, paired with checkered Magna walnut grips inset with factory S&W medallions.

Serial number K876073 dates this revolver to the early 1970s(K-series range ~1970). This particular example shows virtually no signs of handling —remarkably, there isn’t even a visible turn line on the cylinder. It’s about as pristine an example as one can expect to find of the iconic Model 15 “Combat Masterpiece.”
