This is a fairly rare Smith & Wesson Model 15-5, chambered in .38 S&W Special, in excellent condition. This example features a 2″ barrel, rich factory blued finish, and a fluted 6-shot cylinder with a slight plum patina. It retains its color case-hardened hammer and trigger, paired with checkered Magna walnut grips inset with factory S&W medallions.

The 15-5 was introduced in 1982 with the elimination of the pinned barrel. Serial number for this particular revolver is AYC0082. This example shows virtually very minimal signs of handling —with only a slight turn line on the cylinder. This is a great find of the iconic Model 15 “Combat Masterpiece", especially in the 2"-barrel specification.
