OVERVIEW

Offered here is an exceptional Colt Custom Single Action Army chambered in .32-20 Winchester, featuring a 5½-inch barrel, beautiful blued finish, and classic walnut grips. This highly desirable collector's revolver is represented as new, unfired, and unturned, preserved in its original Colt presentation box with the factory outer shipping carton and accessories.

Identified on its original factory packaging as a Custom Single Action Army, this revolver carries model designation P1550Z and serial number WC0110.

The .32-20 Winchester chambering holds a special place in Colt history. Originally developed as a rifle cartridge by Winchester, the .32-20 was introduced into Colt's Single Action Army lineup in 1884. Its popularity among early shooters helped establish the Single Action Army as a companion to the lever-action rifles of the American frontier.

While the Colt Single Action Army remains one of America's most recognizable revolvers, examples in .32-20 Winchester are less commonly encountered than those in traditional .45 Colt. Modern Colt Custom configurations in this historic chambering are particularly interesting to collectors.

This revolver features the timeless lines of the SAA, beautifully polished blued steel, a traditional fixed-sight configuration, and smooth and highly figured walnut grips. Its preserved condition and original packaging make it a noteworthy addition to a serious Colt collection.
