This is a recently acquired Remington 40x .308 Bolt Action Rifle is great condition. It features a 26" heavy chromoly barrel, one-piece wood stock with "White Line" butt plate. The Remington 40-X series was created in the 1960s to compete with all target rifles on the market at the time. It was designed by Merle “Mike” Walker, a renowned engineer at Remington Arms, who also contributed to the designs of other Remington bolt action rifles. This rifle shows normal signs of wear and use as well as previous scope, sight, and sling mounting. Overall, it's well maintained with a crisp action.
