Remington Model 1100 Magnum 12 Gauge Shotgun
Remington Model 1100 Magnum 12 Gauge 3" – 28" Barrel | Engraved Receiver | Full Choke
Classic Remington Autoloader | Blued Finish | Engraved Receiver | Checkered Wood Stocks | 3" Magnum Chamber
OVERVIEW
Offered here is a classic Remington Model 1100 Magnum chambered in 12 gauge for 3-inch shells, featuring a 28-inch barrel, full choke, traditional blued finish, decorative scroll-engraved receiver, and attractive checkered wood stock and forearm.
Introduced in 1963, the Remington Model 1100 earned a reputation for its dependable gas-operated action, smooth handling, and reduced felt recoil. Its popularity among hunters and sporting shooters helped establish it as one of America's most recognizable semiautomatic shotgun designs. By 1983, Remington had announced production of its three-millionth Model 1100.
This particular shotgun features the 12-gauge Magnum configuration, identified by the M suffix in its serial number, and bears the traditional Remington patent and proof markings. The P serial-number prefix places its receiver in the approximate 1985–1990 production period.
The decorative receiver scrollwork, classic blued steel, and checkered wood furniture give this shotgun the timeless appearance associated with Remington's traditional sporting arms.
