Ruger American 18" Compact 7mm-08 Remington Rifle – Bushnell Sportview 4–12× Scope

Ruger American Rifle Compact 7mm-08 Remington 18" – Bushnell Sportview 4–12× Scope

Discontinued Compact Model | 18" Barrel | Bushnell Sportview Adjustable-Objective Scope | Excellent Condition

OVERVIEW

Offered here is an attractive Ruger American Rifle Compact chambered in 7mm-08 Remington, featuring an 18-inch barrel, matte-black finish, lightweight black synthetic stock, and an installed Bushnell Sportview 4–12× adjustable-objective scope.

Introduced in 2012, the Ruger American Rifle quickly earned a reputation for accuracy, reliability, and practical design. Ruger expanded the series in 2013 with the Compact configuration, featuring a shorter barrel and reduced length of pull for easier handling and maneuverability.

This discontinued Ruger Model 06909, shipped from the factory in 2016, features the original-generation Compact design with an 18-inch cold hammer-forged barrel, shortened 12½-inch length of pull, and an overall length of just 36¾ inches. Weighing approximately 6 pounds without optics, the Compact offers a lightweight, easy-handling alternative to traditional full-size sporting rifles.

The installed Bushnell Sportview 4–12× scope features variable magnification and an adjustable objective with distance markings ranging from 20 to 1,000 yards, allowing focus and parallax adjustment at varying distances.

This rifle combines the versatile 7mm-08 Remington chambering with the desirable Compact configuration and an included optic.
