Ruger New Model Blackhawk .357 Magnum Revolver with TGW Action Job

Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible .45 Colt / .45 ACP – 4⅝" – TGW Action Job

Dual-Cylinder Convertible | Blued Finish | Walnut Grips | In-House Action Job | Serial No. 46-54989

OVERVIEW

Offered here is a Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible chambered in .45 Colt and .45 ACP, featuring a 4⅝" barrel, full length ejector rod housing, traditional blued finish, slight pops of plum patina, lightweight aluminum grip frame, and smooth walnut grips with Ruger medallions.

One of the most versatile configurations in Ruger's single-action lineup, the Blackhawk Convertible offers the ability to enjoy two popular .45-caliber cartridges in one revolver. With its interchangeable cylinders, this model combines the timeless appeal of the .45 Colt with the convenience of .45 ACP, all while retaining the rugged construction and classic styling for which Ruger is known.

This example, serial number 46-54989, features an attractive blued barrel, cylinder, and frame, complemented by a contrasting 2-tone stainless and blue hammer. The aluminum grip frame provides a lighter feel, while the smooth walnut grips add warmth and traditional character.

We've also performed our in-house action job, providing an additional level of refinement to this already desirable single-action revolver. The work is documented by the accompanying Tyler Gun Works certificate.

With its excellent overall condition, minimal signs of use or handling, and included .45 ACP conversion cylinder with Ruger cylinder sack and box, this Blackhawk is a particularly appealing example of Ruger's popular convertible design.
