OVERVIEW

Offered here is an excellent-condition Ruger New Model Single-Six chambered in .17 HMR, featuring the classic 6½" barrel and several well-chosen upgrades that make this example stand apart from a standard factory revolver.

This Single-Six has received a Tyler Gun Works action job, providing a smoother, more refined action while retaining the familiar handling characteristics of Ruger's single-action platform. It has also been upgraded with a Belt Mountain base pin and Wilson Combat rear sight.

The revolver retains its handsome blued finish and factory-style walnut grips with Ruger medallions. One particularly attractive bit of character is the plum-toned patina on the loading gate, providing subtle contrast against the surrounding blue finish.

CONDITION

This revolver is in excellent overall condition, retaining a strong, attractive blued finish with limited evidence of handling or use.

The loading gate has developed a distinctive plum-colored patina, adding a bit of individual character to the revolver without detracting from its otherwise excellent presentation. The walnut grips remain attractive and fit the traditional styling of the Single-Six particularly well.

Mechanically, this revolver has benefited from a TGW action job, along with the addition of a Belt Mountain base pin and Wilson Combat rear sight.
