This early Super Blackhawk features the desirable Old Model configuration with a traditional 4-click action, high-polish blued finish, and walnut grips with Ruger medallions. Based on Ruger serial number history, this revolver appears to be an approximate 1964 production example.

The revolver shows an attractive plum patina on the grip frame, most notably on the trigger guard, adding character and visual appeal consistent with an early Ruger single-action revolver. This example offers the appeal of an early-production .44 Magnum Ruger with the traditional feel collectors and shooters appreciate.
