Overview

The Ruger New Vaquero is a modern-built single-action revolver with classic lines, excellent durability, and Ruger’s proven safety system. Chambered in .45 Colt and fitted with a 5.5" barrel, it offers a superb blend of balance, sight radius, and traditional handling.

This revolver has been upgraded in the Tyler Gun Works Custom Shop with our in-house action job, and it’s topped off with hand-fit high grade walnut grips for a more refined feel and appearance.

• Timing verification and correction as needed
• Cylinder carry-up and lockup refinement
• Polishing/smoothing of key contact surfaces to reduce friction
• Spring optimization for a balanced pull and reliable ignition
• Trigger refinement for a cleaner, more predictable break

Result: A smoother cocking stroke, improved trigger feel, and a more refined overall action.

Hand-Fit High Grade Walnut Grips

This revolver wears high grade walnut grips that have been hand fit for proper alignment and feel. The upgraded wood pairs especially well with the High Gloss Stainless finish and provides a comfortable, secure purchase in hand.
