This is a recently acquired Ruger Security-Six
double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, featuring a 6"-barrel, blued finish, and factory black rubber checkered grips with silver Ruger medallions. Designed for rugged reliability and durability, the Security-Six became a favorite among law enforcement and civilian shooters alike in the 1970s and 80s.
This particular example, with serial number 161-55307, was manufactured around 1985, near the end of the Security-Six production run. It remains in great condition, showing only typical signs of light handling, very slight holster wear and some very minimal and scattered peppering. It has had action work done and the bore is bright, the action is smooth, and the finish retains strong factory luster.
