This is a recently acquired Smith & Wesson Model 48-4, also known as "The K-22 Masterpiece Magnum Rimfire". This model was manufactured from 1959 to 1986. This one was most likely produced somewhere between 1977-1982 It features a 4"-pinned barrel, serrated top rib, fluted and counterbored cylinder, original blue finish, and case colored hammer & trigger. It wears a set of Walnut Magna grips with S&W medallions. Overall, this revolver is in great condition with minimal wear and a few faint handling marks.
