This remarkable revolver began life as a Smith & Wesson K-22 Outdoorsman (K-22 1st Model), one of the most desirable and collectible pre-war Smith & Wesson rimfire revolvers ever produced.

Built on the square butt K-frame and chambered in .22 Long Rifle, the K-22 Outdoorsman established Smith & Wesson’s reputation for target-grade rimfire revolvers long before the later K-22 Masterpiece and Model 17. Based on the serial number 657775, this revolver falls within the documented production range of the K-22 1st Model, manufactured during the pre-war era, circa 1931–1940.

This example has been transformed by Tyler Gun Works into a true custom presentation revolver, featuring full coverage hand engraving by Rocky Sharp, a deep blued finish, color cased hammer and trigger, and TGW custom made stag grips fitted with pre-war Smith & Wesson medallions.
