The Springfield M1A .308 rifle is a civilian adaptation of the military M14 rifle. It is a gas-operated, magazine-fed, semi-automatic rifle that employs a rotating bolt and is known for its reliability in harsh conditions. It features a 22" barrel made of carbon steel with muzzle brake that brings it to 25". It has a camo stock and a black National Match Service Rifle Sling by Turner Saddlery. It's equipped with military aperture rear sights and National Match front sights, the M1A provides excellent sight acquisition for precise shooting. There is a small hidden compartment in the butt stock. Overall, this rifle is in great condition with normal wear. It has some scattered peppering on the receiver.
