This is a recently acquired Uberti 1873 Sporting Rifle, chambered in .44-40 Winchester, featuring a 24″ octagon barrel, full-length tubular magazine, dovetail front sight, and ladder buckhorn rear sight. The receiver is beautifully color-case hardened, while the barrel and lever remain deep blued. The forend cap and the butt plate have a nice vintage plum patina.
