Winchester Model 1886 .45-70 Govt – Miroku Production Lever Action
This is a recently acquired Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle, manufactured by Miroku in Japan—well known for producing high-quality, licensed Winchester firearms. Chambered in the powerful .45-70 Government, this rifle is built to handle both modern shooting needs and traditional big-bore appeal.
It features a 22" barrel with a half-length magazine tube, blued finish, and rich walnut stocks. The classic gold bead dovetail front sight and semi-buckhorn rear sight offer traditional Western-style sighting. Mechanically, this rifle is in great condition, with smooth cycling and solid lock-up. Cosmetically, the only notable blemish is a visible indentation on the top of the buttstock.
