Winchester Model 70 – Factory Target Model – 26″ Heavy Barrel – Redfield Target Sights + 20X Scope – Circa 1975
Description: This is a recently acquired Winchester Model 70 Factory Target Model, chambered in .308 Winchester. The rifle bears serial number G1193187, placing its manufacture in early to mid-1975
—a post-1964 push-feed era variant, but expertly configured with classic target gear. It features a 26″ heavy target barrel, Redfield International micrometer rear sight, hooded globe front sight with integral spirit level, and includes a boxed Redfield 20X target scope
with Weaver ring mounts and screw on lens caps. The bolt has added texture tape for extra grip.
The stock is the correct Winchester target-style walnut stock, featuring a flat-bottom forend, heavy barrel channel, and an alloy buttplate with an added recoil pad. It retains the hand stop rail and adjustable sling swivel, completing the original target configuration.
