Overview

Offered here is a classic Winchester Model 90 pump-action rimfire rifle chambered in .22 WRF, featuring the highly desirable 24" octagon barrel and traditional walnut furniture.

Designed by legendary firearms designer John Moses Browning, the Winchester Model 1890/90 series became one of the most successful rimfire repeating rifles ever produced. These rifles were widely used for small-game hunting, ranch use, and shooting galleries across America in the early 20th century.

This example is marked Model 90, reflecting Winchester’s transition from the earlier “Model 1890” designation around 1918. The serial number 593979 places production approximately 1919–1920, during the height of Model 90 production.

The rifle retains its classic octagonal barrel configuration, a feature that not only adds distinctive visual appeal but also reflects the traditional sporting rifles of the era.
