Winchester Model 94 .30-30 Win Lever-Action Rifle

Offered here is a Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle chambered in .30-30 Winchester, serial number V149383, featuring a 20-inch barrel, traditional wood stock and forearm, and classic tubular-magazine lever-action configuration.

The Winchester Model 94 is one of the most recognizable American sporting rifles ever produced and has long been closely associated with the .30-30 Winchester cartridge.

This example is somewhat unusual because of its V-prefix serial number. V-prefix serial ranges are associated with the period when Winchester was producing for Sears and related private-label programs, so the serial format does not correspond to the standard early Winchester Model 94 serial-number tables.

The barrel is clearly marked “WINCHESTER – MODEL 94 – 30-30 WIN.” and “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL.” The receiver itself is not marked.
