Built on Bill Ruger's renowned falling-block single-shot action, the No. 1 has long been celebrated for its exceptional strength, compact design, and timeless elegance. Its unique action allows for a full-length barrel in a shorter overall rifle while providing outstanding balance and accuracy.

This Lipsey's Exclusive Medium Sporter features a polished blued finish paired with beautiful hi-grade walnut furniture, highlighted by the classic Alexander Henry forearm, red recoil pad, and Ruger's integral quarter rib with included scope rings. Traditional sporting sights include a gold bead front sight and an adjustable folding rear sight, making the rifle equally suited for iron sight use or scoped hunting.

Originally developed for the Winchester Model 71, the .348 Winchester has earned an outstanding reputation for hunting elk, moose, black bear, and other large North American game. Factory Ruger No. 1 rifles chambered in .348 Winchester have always been produced in limited numbers, making them highly desirable among both hunters and collectors.
